Short-Term Disability Benefit

Accidents happen. People get sick. In fact, nearly one-third of Americans entering the workforce today will become disabled before they retire. The Short-Term Disability Benefit through the Episcopal Diocese of Arizona helps you continue paying your bills even when you can’t work for up to one year.

Short Term Disability Benefit covers events such as:

  • Maternity leave
  • Injuries
  • Extended illness
  • Recovery from surgery
  • Hospitalization

Your employer may provide Short Term Disability Insurance as a benefit. To find out, please contact your benefits administrator.

If you do not receive this benefit, you may consider purchasing Short Term Disability through your employer to help protect you financially, should you be unable to work for up to one year.

Clergy short-term disability premiums are paid by The Church Pension Fund.
