Lay Leadership Weekend at Chapel Rock, Prescott – March 3rd-5th 2023

The 2023 Lay Leadership Weekend will take place from Friday, March 3rd, to Sunday, March 5th at Chapel Rock Camp and Conference Center in Prescott. It is open to all lay leaders in the diocese, including church staff, vestry/bishop committee members, and volunteers that take part in the day-to-day operations of the church.
This year’s theme is “Becoming a 21st Century Disciple” and will focus on discipleship in the modern age.
At Lay Leadership Weekend, we will offer the opportunity to spend time with Bishop Jennifer Reddall, Rev. Canon Anita Braden, and our special guest, Rev. Thomas Brackett.

Rev. Tom Brackett serves on the Episcopal Church’s Presiding Bishop’s staff as the Manager for New Church Starts and Missional Initiatives. Ordained for 41 years, he now consults with Bishops and their teams around the world, putting him in the unique position to host conversations about the future Church as it emerges among us.
As both priest and Executive Coach, Tom companions these leaders to celebrate their successes and to prayerfully and strategically explore the new possibilities ahead of them. Curiosity, compassion, and appreciation are the underlying values that shape Tom’s coaching work.
Throughout the weekend, there will be informational workshops and presentations, outdoor activities, games, and much more!
The full 2023 Lay Leadership Packet will be available to view soon. This will include the agenda, keynote information, a packing list, and a map.
Note* Single room occupancy is reserved for ADA accommodations only. If you require special accommodations, you can email Toni Murdock at toni@azdiocese.org.
