Where do we begin?
Did you know that the largest underrepresented group in the greater church is the community of believers who are living with, or have a family member with a disability? Some estimate that as many as eighty percent (80%) of those living with a disability do not attend a local worship service. More often than not, the reason is a simple one: lack of accessibility, or a failure to provide accommodations – even after requests and suggestions have been made.
This webinar hopes to answer the question, where do we begin? Not to provide a fully fledged ministry in a box, but to provide you with the tools that will help you change the culture of your worshipping community to one that celebrates and welcomes those children of God living with a disability.
