2024 Bishop’s Annual Appeal

Our Goal – 100 for $100

Dear Friends,

Easter greetings to you all!

I can share some wonderful news!  This year’s Bishop’s Appeal has been blessed by an anonymous donor who has issued a challenge to the members of the diocese.  Every gift made to this important campaign will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $10,000!

We hope to reach the $10,000 goal by booking 100 gifts this year of $100 or more.  We hope you might be one of those leadership givers.

Proceeds from the Bishop’s Appeal this year will provide much-needed support for several diocesan ministries, including rural missions, our vital campus ministries, seminarian scholarships, and urban congregations worshiping in Spanish and Dinka.

Will you consider becoming one of our “100 for $100” givers? And even if you are not able to give at that level this year, every donation will help us toward our goal of meeting the $10,000 challenge!

Thank you in advance for your generosity to the 2024 Bishop’s Appeal.

 In Christ,

+Jennifer

Nurturing The Faith of Young Adults

Last year’s appeal helped Campus Ministries across Arizona

At ASU, we are connecting students to intergenerational Communities of Practice. These groups provide support for students as they pray, eat, study, and reflect together.

The Very Rev. Chad Sundin, OSBCn, Chaplain for ECM at ASU

The first semester at LCM|Canterbury at NAU we focused on re-developing our Sunday evening program. Our “Super Bowl Chili” night in February was the best-attended event of the year!

Pastor Mike Girlinghouse – Chaplain for LCM|Canterbury

At U of A, we started four mini-retreats focused on the liturgical seasons, resiliency, and life skills. The students’ participation in the NightSong compline in a Tucson public market square gets us out beyond our church walls.
