The Episcopal Diocese of Arizona provides many resources to help our clergy and lay leaders build, maintain, and strengthen their congregation’s communications (including social media, newsletter, branding, and website information).
Please contact our office with questions about the publication of church-related events to a diocesan audience, concerns or questions about ways to improve your church’s communications, or to arrange a workshop in your area. Consultations can also be done via phone, e-mail, video chat, or onsite.

Diocesan Communications
News items and events submitted for inclusion in any diocesan publication must either be sponsored by or held at one of our diocesan churches. There is no cost for advertising. Submissions should be sent to the director of communications at the email address above.
E-pistle
To share church or diocesan ministry news and events in our weekly E-pistle newsletter (published each Wednesday), please electronically submit the text and photos no later than noon on Mondays. If you are not receiving the newsletter, subscribe online.
Diocesan Calendar
If your church or diocesan ministry has an event, meeting, or special service that is open to the public, it can be included in the diocesan calendar and event listing. Submit the details (with a brief description) electronically. Please note, Christmas and Easter services will not be advertised.
AZ Episcopalian Magazine
To publish a church or diocesan ministry article in our quarterly magazine, please electronically submit the text and hi-resolution photographs (at least 1 MB each) separately. Do not embed the photos in the document. The article should be approximately 500 words. For longer articles, please contact Laurel Way directly prior to submission to discuss the availability of space.
An event flyer should be formatted as an 8.5″ x 11″ (portrait orientation), full color, hi-resolution .pdf document.
The magazine is printed four times per year: January, April, July, and October. Submission deadlines are the 1st of December, March, June, and September. Current and past issues of the magazine can be viewed online.
Each congregation manages its own subscriptions to the magazine. Contact your church administrator to subscribe or update your address.
