Since 2020, THRIVE Lifeline has offered, at no cost, 24-hour text-based crisis support by and for members of multiply-marginalized communities. Trans-led and radically inclusive, the Lifeline provides identity-affirming crisis support to anyone who faces discrimination and increased marginalization within traditional systems.
Since the November election, the Line has experienced a 5-fold increase in texter volume that has not diminished, and has outgrown its current service providers. Unfortunately, in this time of great need, the line is unavailable until funds can be raised to pay for a more robust communications system.
The communications platform needed to accommodate the needs of the Lifeline requires a greater than 30-fold increase in monthly expenditures.
The THRIVE team is currently asking for support to raise $20,000 to fund a year of service. We are currently only $5,000 away from meeting our $20,000 goal!
