It is a season of comings and goings at Diocesan House.
Dawn Jackson, the Assistant to the Canon to the Ordinary and for Ministry, has taken a new job near her home in Payson. Dawn is currently the longest-serving employee of the Diocese of Arizona, beginning in 2014 as our Receptionist, and then moving forward to assisting the Canon for Administration, and to her current position. Dawn’s last day with us will be Wednesday, August 28. Dawn’s quiet wisdom and steady leadership will be missed–please keep her in your prayers as she moves on to this wonderful new opportunity!
On the other side, I am pleased to announce that Kevin Lentz will be stepping in as the Director of Finance and Operations for the Diocese of Arizona in September.
Kevin brings many years of experience in accounting and finance to the Diocese in both small and large firms. In addition, he and his family opened and ran a restaurant in the Valley for several years. He is looking forward to being in a position where his accounting and managerial skills can be used in service of the Gospel.
Kevin is a member of All Saints on Central, Phoenix, where he has served on the Vestry and as Junior Warden.
Kevin’s first day in the office will be Tuesday, September 3. Please join us in welcoming him to this new role!
