The last time I wrote about the movie The Philadelphia Eleven, a documentary about the ordination of the first eleven women priests in the Episcopal Church, it was to ask for your financial support to help get the film completed. You and others responded, and the movie premiered on the fiftieth anniversary of the ordinations in the church where they took place. Hallelujah!
You can celebrate this momentous fiftieth anniversary, and celebrate the access to ordained life for women by seeing it for yourself. Even for those of us who think we know this story–I promise, it will move you, and leave your faith strengthened.

Details: The Episcopal Diocese of Arizona invites all to attend the screening of this historic documentary. A suggested donation of $5 per person will be accepted at the door and will go toward seminary education that will continue the legacy of the Philadelphia 11.
