St. John’s in Bisbee Celebrates the Installation, Blessing, & Dedication of their New Flagpole
On May 21st, the people of St John’s Episcopal Church in Bisbee held a dedication ceremony for the installation of their new flag pole, generously donated to the church by two of their veteran members William Hicks, & Robert Chavez.
The ceremony was held after Sunday services in the beautiful little 100+-year-old church. After the service, the congregation processed out to the garden area where the new flagpole was installed.
The American & Episcopal flags were raised by William Hicks & Richard Hannigan (see photo), & then blessed by the people of St John’s, led by their Vicar, Rev. Caleb Collins, & Rev. Laura Adelia, Missioner, Diocesan Veteran Ministry (pictured below).
The new little flag pole with flags waiving are a beautiful addition to St John’s & the community of Bisbee! Long may they wave!
