Valley Interfaith Project and Church of the Epiphany in Tempe will host a Zoom webinar called “Civic Academy on Public Education and the Budget.”
This webinar will focus on earning how we avert crisis as school districts are facing a budget cliff on April 1st. If the legislature does not act before April, the aggregated expenditure limit will defund school districts for this school year. Currently, legislators are threatening to “repeal and replace” Proposition 307, the flat tax
the referendum, to thwart the voters and enact tax cuts that would erode
Arizona’s General Fund.
Attend this civic academy on these two issues that imperil our schools and our state’s future.
